Massage Envy is a place that every mom and I am sure dads dream of going, probably on an everyday basis. To have an hour or more to yourself with someone else massaging away your stresses, pain, tension…..Ahhhhhhh
As I write this I am dreaming again of another session with Cinnamon of the Kingwood location who was just fabulous. When you walk in, you are greeted with tranquility as you fill out paperwork to let them know what you are in need of for your massage, but also what you don’t want.
I opted for the Swedish massage since I can’t handle deep tissue. I am way too sensitive to touch and bruise easily. Cinnamon greeted me soon after and we went back over what areas I needed most to have the tension worked out. She was very professional and truly had magic hands. I carry a lot of knots and tension in my neck and shoulders and she was able to work it out, though she did tell me I needed to come back since I had some killer knots.. haha..Oh if I could go back more than a couple of times a year… I would be there in a heartbeat!
I left feeling relaxed and relieved. If you ever go get a massage, don’t forget to drink lots of water the rest of the day. Massages release toxins into your body and you need to flush them out. Otherwise you will get pretty sick and have a headache! But I don’t know anything about that…No I followed the rules…. well maybe… And if you are ever near the Kingwood location, go in and see Cinnamon 🙂
