That number is astounding to me to know that over 5 million children are forced into all kinds of labor. With having young kids my self, I can’t even imagine the anguish and heartache that those kids go through on a daily basis… and for what??? It absolutely breaks my heart that there are people out there who would buy and trade children for their own pleasure and to force them into hard labor and even prostitution. How sick do you have to be to partake in something like that.

UNICEF has a new initiative called The End Trafficking project and with the help of actress Angie Harmon are raising funding to bring awareness to child trafficking abroad as well as here in the US. They want to mobilize communities to take action against child trafficking and if you happen to know of it happening near you to call the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-88-373-7888 and report any activity that you see.

I hope that you will take some time to see how you can help UNICEF End Child Trafficking!!! And find some ways that you can help.
