I don’t know about you, but getting my kids to brush their teeth is not always an easy task. They don’t always want to cooperate and it is hard to tell if you have really brushed all of their teeth because after all they are not your own. And forget about flossing. Flossing is next to impossible on wriggly kids. Thankfully little man is starting to get better at brushing twice a day and he also does mouthwash at night. We try to sing songs and make funny faces so that they will keep their mouths open longer, but that only goes so far at getting them to let us brush their teeth for as long as we need to do it. But what are you to do during the day when they are constantly eating and drinking?

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Orbit for Kids. I was provided samples in order to facilitate my review, but all opinions are my own.

My kids have recently become obsessed with chewing gum. I don’t normally keep it around just because I don’t chew it due to jaw issues, but every once in a while they get some. They definitely don’t like the super minty gum, because according to them it is too “spicy” 🙂 I gave them some of the Orbit for Kids to test out in the strawberry banana flavor and they really liked it. Both seemed to like the flavor and mommy likes that it helps get foods out of their teeth and promotes saliva production to help wash away acids that can break down teeth.

Gotta love the cheeseball grin!!

We also got some flossing picks and the kids were actually somewhat interested in using them. It is something that they can hold on to themselves and “pick” at their teeth. It makes it so much easier than trying to use string floss in their mouths.

I don’t know if he is scared of the products or what?! HAHA

I worry that we do not do enough sometimes to keep their teeth clean and healthy, but adding in occasional gum chewing just might be something we can incorporate. With the Orbit for Kids gum being sugarfree, I don’t have to worry about them getting hopped up on sugar and in essence making their teeth worse.

I participated in this campaign on behalf of Orbit for Kids and Mom Central Consulting. I received product samples in order to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

They are SO cute! I'm finding it nearly impossible to get all of my son's teeth brushed. This is something I can see myself giving him when he's a little older.
