I was born with bone straight hair. It would barely hold a curl when my mom would try to give me cute ringlets for pictures, so when I had a daughter that comes with very curly hair… I knew I needed some help taming the curls. We started with just using shampoo, but soon realized that with curls comes more tangles. We eventually added conditioner and leave-in conditioners. For the most part they worked, but I honestly didn’t like her using stuff with yucky ingredients that weren’t good for her skin and body.
Little Green is a line of hair and body products that I can get behind using on my daughter. They are safe, gentle, and pure for kids with sensitive skin. The company was founded by a grandfather who wanted to make sure his grandkids and other kids with skin sensitivities could have allergen free, paraben free, and sulfate free products to use everyday.
The Shampoo & Body Wash bottle makes it easy to have one step that Bella can use for her long hair and to wash away the stinky soccer grime. We then use the Curly Hair Cream, which is like a leave in conditioner on her hair before we brush it out at night. I have noticed a huge difference in the texture of her hair and that her curls are more defined and less frizzy. It doesn’t leave her hair crunchy or weighed down like other products we have used before.
For those days when she sleeps hard at night and gets lots of tangles, Little Green works its magic taming the curls with the Conditioning Hair Detangler. Another plus to Little Green is that they don’t have fake, overdone scents that can overwhelm you. Some of the “kid” versions of hair products just smell awful, but not Little Green.
They have their baby line, kids line, and even help if you ever have to deal with lice. I am happy that we were able to try out their products. I saw their booth at Babypalooza and instantly knew it was something I needed to try on Bella and her curly hair. Now we have something that works well for her curly hair and she is happy with using everyday.
