My kids absolutely love to read and I try and foster that love of learning whenever I can by bringing in new books especially ones that have all sorts of facts and figures. We get my son the National Geographic Almanac each and every year. He brings them out from time to time whenever we have conversations about certain subjects he will go get one of his Almanacs that talk about it.
This love of learning is what National Geographic is all about. They recently sent me the 2019 Almanac the Explorer Academy: The Nebula Secret novel. Dylan is already soaking in so much from the Almanac. He comes to me several times while he is reading with “Hey mom, did you know…”. I absolutely love it. Hey even parents can foster their love of learning again with these books.
