Recently I found a website called Bookieboo.com and was so excited to find a place that had so many resources for losing weight, getting motivation and being part of a group that truly want to help you lead a healthier and more active lifestyle. If you are serious about wanting to get back in shape and do it along with some other wonderful people then I fully suggest that you check out http://www.bookieboo.com and join the #mamavation group!!!
I have been working out now for about 3 months now and have begun to notice the changes in my body, energy levels and much more. I am so happy that I started this journey and have stuck with it. I still have a long ways to go to get to the body shape and health that I would like to be in, but am committed to getting to a better place.
The last two weeks of working out have not been so great. I have been doing what I can, but haven’t kept up with the 3 miles each day like I had been. It seems like I run out of steam at about 2 miles. My energy levels have been really low and the past three days I have not worked out at all. I think my body did need a break, but I also started eating badly again. The last week was definitely a set back and I sure did not like feeling like that.
I am excited to start another new chapter and being a part of the Mamavation Sistahood with Bookieboo and many others.
Each week I will be posting my progress of working out and things I am doing to improve my health.
Here is a question that New Balance, the sponsor of this weeks MAMAVATION TV: Join us Monday night at 7pm PST/10pm EST on Mingle Media TV, has asked of us:
How would you brand your health and wellness lifestyle? How do you want others to know you in this area?
I am not totally sure how to answer this, but here goes.. As of right now I would brand myself as eager, ready to make a change and hopeful for a brighter future. I want people to see me as willing to change. Someone that they can see wants to be healthier, live longer and have more energy. I am not perfect and have a whole lot to learn when it comes working out, what to eat and what to do, but I hope that I can be an influence to my children and family to make them want to eat healthier, exercise more and just have an overall better lifestyle.
This post is sponsored by New Balance and I’m writing this to be entered into a giveaway hosted by Mamavation – a community dedicated to obesity prevention & weight loss for women
Janice- I think most of it had to do with "time of the month" Since I am almost done with that, I am doing a little better and actually got on the treadmill today for 2 miles. It is also due to stress. Lots of things going on lately and I have been overstressed!!
I should get my iron levels checked too. I has low levels when I was pregnant, but have never had a full check up other
So glad to have you on board!
I hope this week brings you better things than the last few have. Good luck with keeping up with the energy/working out!
