We have come to the end of the 2 week challenge with Bob Harper and Mamavation!! I am so glad that I jumped back in and get to working out again. The first week I didn’t really push myself very hard because it was a busy and stressful week, but the second week I really stepped it up and got back on the treadmill for 3 miles each day.
I have to say that being on the treadmill and walking/running is definitely the workout for me. It is one that doesn’t hurt my neck or back, which is definitely a good thing. I can put on my music, play on my iPad and just walk or run. The time passes quickly before I have even realized how long I have been on. I want to push myself to get faster and eventually go longer distance.
In just a couple of weeks I will be doing the TXU Turkey Trot benefiting Sheltering Arms here in Houston on Thanksgiving morning and will actually be doing the 10K!!! I have never walked/run that long before so I am hoping I make it through. I am just going to keep pushing and go at least 3 miles each day to help build my strength and stamina.
No change on the weight front, but that is ok. At least I haven’t gained. I am sure I will be building some muscle by getting back on the workout scene. It would be nice to be in a size 8 by the end of the year, but I know it won’t be easy with all the yummy holiday food that is coming up. I am just going to try and stay focused and as long as I eat in moderation and keep up with my treadmill time than I will do good.
Hope you all have a fabulous week and Cheers to changing your life one healthy habit at a time!

Well if you continue with the workouts you might fit on those size 8 jeans, even with all the food.
Good luck
Awesome job finishing the challenge, and getting into a treadmill routine!!!
So excited for you! You are gonna do awesome for the 10k! Congrats!!
Great job doing 3 miles everyday!! I also love running but I am finding that I need to increase my lung capacity or really train my breathing. I bet you will fit in those size 8's if you keep it up!
Bob Harper????? Man I can't believe I missed it. I LOVE him!!

Congratulations on your running! I wish I could run. My knees don't like it…so i stick with the elliptical :-)

Michelle
www.SpecialMomSpace.com
