I am going through a bit of a slump again when it comes to food and well, just things in general. I need to eat as clean as possible because it really helps my pain practically go away and just overall I feel better. Only problem is that I get tired of eating the same things, also I am not good at coming up with recipes and combos of flavors that taste good and that I will actually eat. I am better at keeping on track when I have a plan for the week and it also helps my stress level to not be figuring out dinner and lunch etc at the last minute. When I don’t have a plan, I usually eat whatever is in sight and most of the time it is just random stuff that doesn’t always equal healthy.
I did finally make a few bottles of juice yesterday so I am hoping that I can drink that some this week to reboot in a way. My problem with that is that I make big batches and get tired of it all being the same flavor. I need recipes for my juicing too!!
Overall, I just need recipes or someone to just come and cook and plan my meals for me!! (Oh a girl can dream!) I have been using Shaklee shakes for my breakfast and I love those, because most of the time I don’t want to cook early in the morning.
I need to have a good balance of food and learn what I need to keep me fueled to keep my running up. Running has suffered a bit lately since my fueling has been off and I have lost my focus a bit. I love my running and it helps me in so many ways…
How can I find a balance for it all? Where has my focus gone? Guess I am just feeling a bit lost at the moment. I have my second half marathon in two weeks and just don’t feel like I am as ready as I was for the first… Time to get my booty in gear and find my focus!!!!
Any suggestions on cookbooks that have great recipes for clean eating and are geared more toward vegetarian, but maybe with a little meat? Also need ideas for juicing recipes!!!

Have fun cultivating your friendly relationship with food and food planning. I recently gave my husband a copy of Ruhlman's Twenty from Kobo.com – it was only $3.99 and is a technique book with a few recipes. My latest books are from Kimberly Snyder CN with her Beauty Detox Foods being released tomorrow but that is a much different lifestyle book. I also like Ani Phyo for raw dishes and
I bought a few months ago Tosca Reno's Eating Clean vegetarian book, it was under 20 bucks on Amazon. I thought it was a nice array of recipes
I have been menu planning on a site called http://www.plantoeat.com when I do it it is great. You can pull recipes from all over the web and post them into the program. Eating well is the hardest part for me. I wish you the best to keep on track. Come hang out in the forums and post your recipe question there.
I can definitely relate. Lately I have been feeling exhausted, and I think it has to do with what I'm eating or maybe the way I'm eating. So, I just started using emeals. They email a list each week for lunch and dinner. They email the recipe along with the grocery list. I'm trying the portion control one just because I need to get back into the habit of eating 3 meals with my 3
