Another week, another triumph! Down to 220.8! Getting so close I think I can taste it! Here come the teens baby! Did what I said I was going to do this past week and… lost weight? Imagine that, staying busy, keeping to the program, and down another 1.4 pounds. If I don’t watch out, I might actually hit my goal weight.
Looking forward, my time on the Nutrisystem program is going to end right around the holidays. I’ve ALREADY been thinking of how to stay on track and not fall into the “oh well, this only comes around once a year” excuse cycle. I’ve got a vacation coming up the week of Thanksgiving, and I’m convinced that I have to line up projects to keep me busy. I know vacation should be restful, but restful in my world means not doing anything but sit around, eat, and gain weight. I’ve worked too hard to fall back into that cycle, so over the next week and I’m going plan something fun (and physical) for vacation.
Funny thing is that I think I’ve got my body re-trained. I actually wake up hungry for something to eat now. The breakfasts on this program aren’t necessarily big, but it seems like that fuel in the morning really is helping. Coffee seems to have become an afterthought on some days, and if you’ve been following my posts, the thing I was most adamant about was not giving up the ole cup of Joe (or 3 or 4) everyday.
Gotta drop at least another pound and a half to hit my first goal, which is getting under 220, ultimately ending up at around 205 by the holidays, which would be the lightest I’ve been in a good 15 years. Here goes, wish me luck!
