Well I wish I could say it had been a white Christmas here in deep Texas, but we all know that only happens once in a century.. haha But I will say it was a very good Christmas. Great time spent with family and friends. We didn’t really travel anywhere besides our parents houses that are not too far.
We spent an early Christmas with my parents where the kids got Razor scooters(thanks to black friday deal at walmart) and we had momma’s special spaghetti that just makes me feel at home. I also tried a new recipe goat cheese cheesecake that was divine!!
The night before Christmas, the kids helped to make Christmas cookies for Santa and left him some milk.
They then went to bed, Little Man didn’t want to sleep, and awaited Santa to bring their gifts. The kids were so happy to get their bikes and left a trail of paper all over the Living Room 🙂
Later we headed to the inlaws house where the kids played with their cousins and made the annual cookie house with grandma. It was nice and relaxed and just an overall wonderful family time.
Sadly hubby has had to go back to work, but I am so grateful that we were able to spend the time that we did with him since work has become so busy.
