This post was created in partnership with DOLE. I have received compensation for this post.

Mornings can be so hard to get kids ready for school, try to get them some sort of breakfast, and get dressed and out the door on time. Rarely does it leave time for mom to grab anything for breakfast. I have found a great new way to get a quick, easy, and healthy breakfast all while you are getting the kids ready and you won’t have to mess up a single dish!!

Dole has a huge line of products in the frozen food section: various frozen fruits, Dole Dippers, and their Shakers! I like to make smoothies in the morning because I can pack a lot of nutrition in such a little cup. My favorite is to take Dole frozen cherries, LS Vibe, almond milk, and a handful of spinach then blend it up until it is smooth. It is yummy, filling and perfect for on the go. BUT… I have found an even easier way to get my morning smoothies in without having to use my blender.

I take one of the Dole Shakers cups that you can find in any grocers freezer section like Walmart. Inside is tiny bits of frozen fruit and yogurt. It reminds me of Dippin Dots in the tiny dots that you can see inside. I then fill to the line on the side of the cup with either almond milk or juice. I love to use orange juice in it to up the vitamin C content. Then to give added protein, I add almost a whole scoop of my LS Vibe. This way I am getting in tons of nutrients like I would in my blender smoothies, but I don’t have to dirty one single dish or blender!!! YAY!!! You just shake shake shake until all ingredients are combined.IMG_9299.JPG

This has made my mornings even faster and easier to make sure that I am getting in nutritious foods while I am busy getting the kids ready for school. The Dole Shakers are great any time of day really..after school in the pick up line, after a hard workout, snack time…

My kids are loving the Dole Dippers for after school snack. They get fruit and chocolate in one yummy frozen bites. Thanks Dole for sponsoring this post and helping me find new ways to add fruit in to so many parts of my day and being a part of the Team Dole consumer advocate program!
