I received this product for free from the sponsor of the Moms Meet program, May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. As a Moms Meet blogger, I agree to use this product and post my opinion on my blog. My opinions do not necessarily reflect the opinions of May Media Group LLC or the manufacturer of this product. Come read how I get protein and hydration on the go.

protein and hydration on the go

We plan on being on the go a lot this summer. Well we are already on the go a lot right now with soccer several days a week. In that I struggle to keep snacks and drinks with us that are portable and that I know are good for me and my kids. I was given the opportunity to test out E-hydrate Protein-On-The-Go and E-hydrate Adult Hydration Drink Mix and KIDS Hydration Drink Mix. I was particularly interested in the KIDS hydration mix where it has no sugar since it is sweetened with Stevia. They love other electrolyte drinks, but I hate that they have so much sugar. This is the perfect solution because I can easily carry it around with us and all I need is a bottle of water. I will be adding both of these items to our Ultimate Soccer Mom Bag. These are perfect for having protein and hydration on the go with little effort.

E-hydrate Adult

My kids surprisingly enjoyed the taste of the E-hydrate flavors and it gives them a whole new option besides just water on the soccer field. I would recommend using at least a 12 oz size bottle of water, drinking it down to about 10 oz or less then adding the mix. It does bubble up so you need to have space for it to do that. Or just mix in a cup so you have the bubble room. E-hydrate KIDS Hydration Drink Mix has only 15 calories and is caffeine and taurine-free, while E-hydrate’s Adult Hydration Drink Mix only has four calories and 40mg of caffeine. I have one more race this weekend and will be taking along the Adult hydration along with me to mix quickly with water along the route and help give me an energy boost as I conquer 13.1 miles one last time this season.

E-hydrate KIDS

After the race I am going to use the Protein-on-the-go that comes in a convenient ready to mix pouch. We always get a bottle of water after the race so I can fill up the pouch, shake, and be able to instantly refuel my body with 25 grams of clean, natural protein with only 150 calories and just four grams of sugar per pouch. These would make a great option for getting in a clean breakfast while you travel. I do smoothies just about every morning, but it is hard to do it while I am on the road. By getting some almond milk or even just bottles of water, I can make sure that I am having a breakfast that will start my day off properly instead of sugar laden sweets that most hotels serve. You only need about 8 oz or so of liquid per pack.

I personally dont have any protein on the go secrets… Just the standard protein bar. So anything new can definitely be an improvement.
