I received this product for free from the sponsor of the Moms MeetsSM program, May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. As a Moms Meet blogger, I agreed to use this product and post my opinion on my blog. My opinions do not necessarily reflect the opinions of May Media Group LLC or the manufacturer of the product.

After all I have been through over the past 6 months of doctors, surgeries, chemo, and radiation I knew that I wanted to start off this year with cleansing my body of the toxins and hopefully move toward a better and brighter new year. I was sent the Skinny Limits juice cleanse to test out and help my body detox.

I started juicing some time last year and could tell how beneficial it was for my body. It helps you to get the nutrients that your body needs without having to actually eat all of the fruits and veggies. I never really did an exclusive juice only diet.

This is a full days juice minus the Balance which would be the second juice of the day.

A juice cleanse is a great way to give your bodies system a rest from constantly having to digest hard foods. Now a juice cleanse isn’t exactly easy, but your body will thank you.

The Skinny Limits three day cleanse has 6 juices per day. Three Pure & Simple(Green), 1 Balance(Green Ginger), 1 Scorpion Lemonade(Cayenne Lemonade), and 1 Crescent Moon(Cashew Nut Milk).

The Pure & Simple was a really good green juice. Not too potent, but you can tell you are drinking in some good nutritious juice. The Balance was good, but I am not a huge fan of ginger. The Scorpion Lemonade was by far the hardest for me to drink because I am not one for spicy things. I can see the benefits of it, but will admit it is TOUGH to drink. My favorite by far was the Crescent Moon. It was a creamy sweet ending to the day.

My favorite!!! So creamy and sweet and balanced perfectly.

The first day was the easiest to do for me. Day two was a bit harder because I just wanted to chew on something and I was starting to get a headache. This is a normal thing being that you aren’t eating as much calories as your body is used to and it is also getting rid of toxins. Day three was just a tough. I will admit I have a few bites of food throughout the day.

I didn’t really check to see if I lost any weight during the cleanse, but afterwards I could tell a change in my not wanting junky processed foods. I eased back in to eating so that I didn’t upset my tummy too much. Doing a cleanse once a month or every couple of months is a good way to clear your system and give it a bit of a rest. I will say that it isn’t exactly cheap. Skinny Limits uses 50 pounds of produce to make enough for a three day cleanse and you can’t order until you are definitely ready to start since the juices are highly perishable and have to be shipped overnight unless you are local.

I love supporting a Texas based company with such a great product. Skinny Limits puts out quality good for you juices with several packages and day amounts to choose from. Check them out and see if a juice cleanse could be right for you.
