I was sent a sample in order to facilitate this review, but all opinions are my own.
There are some days where you just want to sit down and have a nice cold adult beverage. I don’t have a drink very often, but the times I do I usually nice a good glass of bubbly or a margarita. I have worked so hard at losing the weight I have that I don’t want to blow it all by having a cocktail with tons of calories.
VeeV has a line of cocktails called VitaFrute. It is made with premium, all natural ingredients which give it a great taste. It is made with VeeV, the first Acai Spirit. I had not heard of them before, but was excited to try it out. At 125 calories per serving, having one here and there would not blow your whole days calories.
They have three flavor choices: Lemonade, Margarita, and Cosmopolitan. I was sent the margarita flavor to test out. One good thing is that you don’t have to mix anything. The alcohol and mixer is all in one bottle. Just fill your glass with some ice, poor the VitaFrute, garnish with a lime, and you are set to have a nice beverage.
The taste was smooth and refreshing. I like my margaritas very limey(is that a word??), or more sour. This one was a little sweeter than I would normally like, but was fairly easy to drink which could or could not be a good thing. haha
