I love to have people over and entertain. I am by no means a June Cleaver with a perfect looking house and always have the best parties, but I enjoy just getting together with people over food and drinks. I think the only part I don’t like is the clean up before and after!!

I try to look for ways to have as little clean up as possible because after all who wants to do dishes after you have been on your feet all day prepping for the party?? Not ME!!

With the holiday season upon us, there will be more and more parties and gatherings where there will be food involved.. So what will you be bringing?

I was excited to hear that I would be able to test out some holiday themed pans from Handi-Foil. They sent me a fun package of orange and pumpkin themed pans to make my own treats in and see what I thought. My first impression is that they are very sturdy. There have been some foil pans that i have used that as soon as you put anything in them, they fold in half and your food spills all over the floor. But the Handi-Foil pans hold up to whatever you may want to cook. I like that they also come with lids, so as soon as you are done making whatever you need, you have a cover to be able to transport it or to cover and put in the fridge if you have leftovers.

Of course being a baker, I made some delicious pumpkin spice cupcakes with a brown sugar cinnamon cream cheese frosting!! I am going to share with you a “cheater” or quick recipe if you don’t have time to make them from scratch like I did.

Take 1 package of yellow cake mix. Follow the directions on the box, but also add in a half can of pumpkin plus 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice. Bake as directed in your Handi-Foil pans. For the frosingt, take a store bought cream cheese frosting then add in 2 Tablespoons of brown sugar. Frost the cupcakes then sprinkle the tops with Cinnamon Sugar. I have a from scratch recipe that I will share soon.

These cupcakes are great for the holiday season and for any party or gathering that you are going to or hosting. And by having them in the Handi-Foil pans you can easily transport or display your treats for guests.

I also made these fun sugar cookies for a bake sale and the pumpkin shaped pan was a perfect for them.
