Summertime calls for lots of summer refreshment because the days are long and the sun is HOT!! I try to keep my kids drinking water, but sometimes you just want something a little sweet and fruity to satisfy that thirst. I have come across a great brand called Santa Cruz Organic® that offers drinks and even applesauce that are sure to please the kids.

A new one that they have is the Santa Cruz Organic® Agua Fresca line that is less sweet than the regular juices that they offer. With flavors like Mango Passionfruit, Pomegranate, and Grapefruit.  you are sure to feel like you are by the water on a tropical island sipping in the ocean breeze. The perfect summer refreshment that is for sure. My kids drank them right up and I loved that they are organic, non-gmo, and that this line offers less sugar than typical juice blends. Santa Cruz Organic Agua Fresca contains only a handful of USDA Certified Organic ingredients, including organic juice/fruit puree as the first ingredient after water.

They are simple with few ingredients, but yet to satisfying and perfect. A fun little tip for you if you want just a hint of flavor in your regular water is to freeze some of the Agua Fresca into ice cubes and let it melt into your water. Just a hint of flavor and sweetness to your water if you are watching your calories. I also froze some of the juice into ice pop molds for the kids as a treat and the ultimate summer refreshment after getting back from a day at the pool.

It is nice to be able to find these kind of companies and products out there that don’t have 100 ingredients in them just to make up a simple juice.
