So Ford shared with me this week that Mr. Toby Keith is now the proud owner of a 2015 Ford F-150. I have to admit that I am a little jelly. I have been dreaming of getting back in to one of these trucks. Maybe he will take me for a spin.. haha

We’ve heard quite a few first 2015 Ford F-150 stories from around the country. So we were excited when we heard about country music superstar Toby Keith. Toby picked up a new ride last week – a new 2015 Ford F-150 Platinum from Joe Cooper Ford in the Oklahoma City area. In true Toby Keith style, he talks about why he would only want to drive a truck. Toby’s favorite features include the automatic tailgate and 360 degree camera. He plans to use the truck for, “muddin’, huntin’ and slidin’.” Really – Toby should be an honorary Texan!
As you may know, the 2015 Ford F-150 sets a new “Built Ford Tough” standard with a new military-grade, high-strength aluminum alloy body; it’s the toughest, smartest and most capable F-150 yet. It is also part of the Ford F-Series truck lineup and has been America’s best-selling truck for 38 consecutive years and America’s best-selling vehicle for 33 years.
Given the truck’s reputation, it makes sense that someone like Toby Keith – with 32 career #1 singles, the recipient of the American Country Music Career Achievement Award, and being named Forbes Magazine’s Country Music’s $500 Million Dollar Man – would be a genuine, self-described third-generation “Ford Truck Man.”
