I participated in the Train Bulletproof Picasso album review program as a member of One2One Network. I was provided a free album to review but all opinions are my own.
Train, the Grammy award winning band, is coming out with their 7th studio album September 16, 2014. The album’s first single, “Angel In Blue Jeans,” has soared to the Top 15 of Triple A and Adult Top 40 radio in only a month, joining the band’s successful arsenal of other radio-embraced singles throughout their two-decade career.
Train is know for some amazing pop songs including “Meet Virginia”, “Drops of Jupiter”, as well as “Calling All Angels” that I bet more than a few of you know and have heard in the top hits on the radio for years. I have always loved their sound that seems to blend soul and pop. IT speaks to so many people and just makes you happy.
I was excited to be able to preview the new album. They definitely deliver their classic sound in this album. So upbeat even though they are singing about love that is lost or trying to get back love. This may be my new running album to listen to. It will keep my going and bouncing to the beats.
“Son of a Prison Guard” and “Don’t Grow Up So Fast” are my two favorites. The second just spoke to this mommas heart. I was a bluggering fool by the end of the song thinking about my kids wanting to be bigger and talking about getting older. As much as I love to see them grow and be more independent, I also want them to stay so young and innocent. Being an adult isn’t all it is cracked up to be for sure.
