Halloween is coming up and fun treats are to be had. Most are geared for kids, but I am sure that adults would love to have some as well that are Halloween themed, but are not loaded with sugar. I am a huge fan of rice pudding and it is to easy to make. I am sharing with you my Easy Chocolate Rice Pudding recipe

TruMoo milk is my big helper in this recipe so that I only have 4 ingredients and two of those are optional. Around Halloween they turn their milk into Orange Scream as well as their classic chocolate milk. Either can be used in this recipe, which makes it just another step easier and more versatile.

Start by adding 1 quart of chocolate milk to a sauce pan. Add in one cup of rice, 6T sugar(optional), and 1 tsp of vanilla(optional). The sugar and vanilla are optional but do give the rice pudding just a little more flavor. The sugar is needed when you use the Orange Scream milk. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium high heat. Then you will turn it down to a low simmer for about 45 minutes until the rice is tender and the mixture has thickened, stirring occasionally. That is it.. that is all you have to do to make easy chocolate rice pudding.

The rice pudding can be served hot or cold. You can add some fun candies to the top or plastic figures to serve at your Halloween party. I used some caramel candy corn in mine and it was delicious!

After making this recipe, I almost wish that I had gotten the Orange Scream milk then added in some pumpkin and pumpkin spice. That would really scream Halloween. Then you could serve two kinds and it would go with an Orange and Black theme. Check out the TruMoo Pinterest page for more recipes and Facebook so you can stay up to date with all things TruMoo.
