This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the Via Colori street painting festival in Houston. I have seen so many pictures online of it and am looking forward to finally attending this year. Houston Via Colori® Street Painting Festival is one of Houston’s most beloved signature art festivals, attracting more than 25,000 annual visitors. Presented by LINN Energy and free to the public, this spectacular two-day event brings the streets of Houston to life through imagination and art by more than 250 artists.
Hear in Color As a fundraiser for The Center for Hearing and Speech, Houston Via Colori raises more than $400,000 annually to fund critical health and educational services for local children with hearing loss.
Celebrating a Decade Houston Via Colori celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, and all art and events will be inspired by the theme – Celebrate! Featuring local and international artists, 10 select works of art will attract adults and children alike with fun 2D, 3D and 4D eye-popping art.
Popular festival features include the Family Zone and kids’ chalk games, the LB Lounge complete with a variety of mini-events, three stages of entertainers and musicians and food and beverage vendors.
“It never ceases to amaze me how stunning it is to watch each mural take shape, all made possible by the uncompromising support we receive from Houston,” said Renée S.
