I don’t know about you, but just thinking about having a party stresses me out. What do you serve, how many people, cleaning the house.. It all can be a bit overwhelming!! That is why most of the time I try to do things that are easy to prepare and don’t take a lot of time. I still stress and worry that it may not be enough or the right kind of food, but I try to look for shortcuts anyway that I can. I did that just this weekend with Little Miss’ 2nd birthday party. I bought pre-made appetizers, made ribs in the crockpot, and overall went with a simpler menu.
Whole Foods contacted me to see if I would like to try out some items that could help to make my holiday hosting just a bit easier. They have a great variety of cheeses, spreads, appetizers, crackers, and treats to make having a party just that much easier.
I was sent a small wheel of  Wellspring Goat Brie, a traditional British Borough Market Stilton, Dalmatia Fig Spread and a wedge of creamy, complex Le Gruyère along with some Caramelized Walnuts and a box of the Whole Foods Market Organic Truffles in Caramel.
I love making cheese trays to have something simple and yet delicious to snack on while waiting on a bigger meal. But if you add some delicious meats such as pancetta or salami as well as some nice olives and various kinds of nuts, then you could also serve these for a simple cocktail gathering.
Here is just an example of how you can put together quick, but delicious cheese trays to serve to your guests. It really didn’t take but a few minutes to gather the ingredients and arrange them nicely.

We actually heated the Goat Brie in the oven until just about melted, topped with the Fig Preserves, Chopped Caramelized Walnuts and a bit of Sliced Basil from my Mother in Laws Garden. It was absolutely heavenly.

And the Truffles.. Are just divine!! They melt in your mouth and are a great ending to a delicious party!
As you can see, it didn’t take much effort to have a beautiful spread of appetizers and treats. Whole Foods has high quality ingredients that are delicious while at the same time easy to prepare.
You can find out more about Whole Foods and all the products and services they offer from their Website, Facebook and even Twitter page.
I was given products from Whole Foods to facilitate my review, but no other compensation took place. All opinions are 100% mine.
