I participated in a Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for SwimWays. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
Summer can not come fast enough. It is starting to get hot in Houston. My daughter has been asking to get in to a pool since January, don’t worry sweet girl we will be spending most of this summer in the pool!!! My little nephews are just as ready to get to swimming, but auntie wants to make sure that they will stay safe since the youngest is just about 18 months. He will be safe and ready for summer swimming with the SwimWays Baby Spring Float.
The Baby Spring Float is one of the best baby floats that is on the market. It popped open so easily when I took it out of the package. Now if I will ever be able to figure out how to fold it back to get back in the package will be a whole other story. haha
There are two rings that you have to inflate to keep baby up and floating. It was pretty easy to slide him in and get to swimming. One note…the pool is still kinda chilly so he was pretty mad at me and didn’t stay in the pool long. I like the best that where the baby sits is a soft mesh so he can move his legs around and get comfortable with kicking his legs to move himself around. This will help to give him knowledge of how to swim and move about the water while keeping his head upright and safe.
Mommy sure liked that it would free her hands from having to hold the baby constantly. He was well supported and I have a feeling we will get lots and lots of use of it this summer.
I love that SwimWays created the Swim Steps line of products to help kids as they get older to become brave confident swimmers. Each step gives just the right amount of support that they need to eventually go without any support at all. I know this was a great way for my kids to learn and now they both are so confident and I worry less and less when they are out playing in the pool.
National Learn to Swim Day is May 16, 2015. This day is designed to remind parents and guardians to kick off summer safely by engaging their children in water safety and swim instructions. SwimWays believes that swimming is an important life skill and that all children should have the opportunity to learn to swim. This will be the fourth annual National Learn to Swim Day.
What have you done to help give your kids the confidence they need in the pool? Have you tried SwimWays products before? You can find them at Toys R Us.
