I am being compensated for this post, but all thoughts are my own.
Well summer is now in full swing and thankfully the first week of summer we were able to take a family vacation. The kids had a blast and after 1900 miles of driving we are happy to be back home. The only problem is that they are getting bored being at the house already and we have only been home two days. Now that my kids are getting older, it takes more to keep them happy and occupied so I have been on the look out for summer camps or classes to enroll them in. Katy Visual and Performing Arts Center could be the solution that we need to beat that summer boredom and to help my kids expand their visual and performing art abilities.
Sign up for one week, two weeks or more. Each week has a different theme as well as many varieties of art to choose from: Production, Acting, Modeling, Art, Pretend, Voice and more. They have classes from ages 3 up to 17. So even the littles and could go and learn so much as well as the teenagers.
What is great is that there is one every week of the summer. So if you find one or several weeks that you would like to get your kids in to, there are lots of possibilities. The classes are half days either AM or PM and you can do both time slots as well. And those of you who are members or would like to become members of KVPAC do get a discount on tuition.
Just looking over the schedule and I can see several weeks that my kids would have so much fun going to and learning. I fully believe in exposing kids in different activities including sports and art of different kinds. You just never know what they may grow up to love and find their passion for doing.
So if you are looking for something to do with your kids this summer, then check out the schedule for the KVPAC summer classes. Then stay in touch with them on Facebook and Twitter. You just never know there may be a performance that your family would like to see performed by the kids at these classes. Here is a link to the full flyer and info with prices. Hope you can make one or two of the weeks!
