I love making homemade ornaments with my kids every year. It is fun to look at the ornaments each year when we put the older ones on the tree.
I love when we all finally meet up at my moms house and the whole family has lunch and does gift exchange. It’s hard with first responders to all be in same place at once.
Each year we try to adopt a couple of children or a family to help out with Christmas, watching my children try to pick things out for others, and learning what it truly means to give….. nothing is better!
We make cookies every year! The kids live to decorate them and if course eat them.

We drive around town on Christmas Eve and look at all the beautiful houses lit up and decorated. It’s something i always did with my parents and now i do it with my daughter.
We always make gingerbread houses on Christmas eve and track santa.
My favorite memory is to go to the local light show and play christmas music while we drive through it.
My favorite memory maker we do every year is we go to one Christmas play! Either at a school or local theater…we just pick one for the whole family to go to and enjoy together! Always special times for us!
