Show of hands.. Who all is grilling something for the 4th of July? Are you doing the grilling or are you headed to someone’s house where they will grill? If you are doing the later one then I have a fabulous DIY 4th of July hostess gift that comes together in just minutes. We will be heading to my in laws house this weekend and there are plans for lots of BBQ, fireworks, and family time! But I don’t want to head up there empty handed so I stopped by The Home Depot and grabbed some goodies that will make the perfect hostess gift.

Since I know that we will be grilling why not make a grilling hostess gift to get them some new grilling tools, lighter, skewers, wine bag, 4th of July festive goodies, and you can’t forget the Kingsford Charcoal because you need the heat. The Home Depot has the 18+ pound bags of Kingsford Charcoal in a Kingsford Original Twin Pack that starting right now is on sale for over half off at just $9.88!! This doesn’t have to be an expensive hostess gift, but one that show you put some thought in to it and is useful.
To make the 4th of July hostess gift:
- Start by separating the Kingsford Original Twin Pack. You can either make two gifts if you are headed to more than one party or keep one for grilling next weekend.
- Get out the packing tape since this is how you will get all of the items to stick together. You could also tie everything with some festive ribbon, but the packing tape worked well for me.
- Take a piece of the tape and roll it on to itself so that you can place it on the back of each of the items.
- Arrange the items that won’t stick on their own in the wine bag so that everything is seen.
- That is it, you now have a quick easy DIY 4th of July Hostess Gift.
