Life can be so so busy and I will be the first to admit that I am horrible at menu planning. I know if I just sat down and really took the time to do it than I could, but it is not high on my list of things to do each week. Therefore, I wind up just buying whatever at the store in hopes that I can throw something together for dinner that somewhat goes together.
|The app is fabulous because you have your lists all your fingertips and don’t have to worry about printing out anything.
For the last year, I have been using eMeals.com to help me do weekly meals plans that I don’t have to think about. They are delivered to your inbox every Thursday so that you can plan for the next week what you are going to make since most of us grocery shop on the weekend. But no matter what day you shop, the eMeals plans can be with you.
The best part of it all is that you can customize it. There isn’t just one meal plan. There are so many to choose from based on family size and what foods you eat. Need gluten free like me? They have that. Like more of a Paleo plan? They have that. I have been so surprised at all the different plans that they have added been in the last year.
|Love the slow cooker options and also when they have more kid friendly recipes.|
Another fabulous feature is that you can make your grocery list based on what meals that you want to make for the week. Print it out and then just add whatever else you need. This helps me not forget exactly what I needed to make each meal since I am notorious for it! It has also helped push me out of my comfort zone of cooking. I am making new things and trying new techniques that I might not have done otherwise. And if you don’t like a certain ingredient, switch it out and this can all be within the type of foods that you can/will eat.
