Wow, what a week it has been.. Little Miss and Little Man started preschool this week. This is Little Man’s second year to go and the first year for Little Miss. We are definitely blessed that we are able to send the kids thanks to parents helping out and me taking on another job.

Hard to get a good picture of toddlers

I have to say it has been a nice break. Little Man has been asking for the last month if it was time for school yet. It is great that he liked it so much last year. Lets hope that enthusiasm lasts… haha

Showing off their packpacks

I was wondering how Little Miss would do since it was her first time staying with anyone but grandparents or close friends outside of our home. Her friend was going to be in the same class, so I think that really helped her be not quite as nervous as I thought she would be. There was no crying so that was good!!

I’ve got my snack ready
Walked in nicely with teacher. The other girl was crying

The teachers said she was just quiet, which I figured she would be since she does that any time she meets new people. She did have an accident, but I figured that would happen too. She is pretty much potty trained, but does not like to go on the big potties yet. I think with time she will get more comfortable. She must have held it all day on Thursday because she came home and peed all over herself. Man that girl has got a strong bladder.. haha

Better than last year when he was crying 🙂

I thought Little Miss would cry Thursday since almost everyone else in the class was that day at drop off. I figured the teachers needed some cupcakes since I knew it would be a long day and they survived the first week!! They were more than happy when I showed up with homemade goodies 🙂

Overall, it was a good first week and I can’t wait to see what the kids learn. And mommy will sure like having at least a few hours to herself to clean without it being destroyed instantly.. haha

Ready for Pre K4

How did the first week of school go for you and your kids?
