If any of you watch Disney Junior with your kids then you have probably heard of Genevieve Goings… The name may not sound familiar but her songs sure are. Choo Choo Soul.. Does that ring a bell?
Her songs are so catchy and my kids just love them. They are simple and easy to learn, but teach our kids so much. I have to say I do miss seeing her everyday on Disney Junior since we don’t have cable right now.
Goings released the first single from her upcoming solo album “Do You Know?” called “My Telephone Number Is” on April 22. The full album is scheduled for release on June 3, 2014. The album focuses on teaching pre-school FUN-damentals in her funky, cool, kid-friendly style.
“Do You know?” is a new presentation path for learning for young children age 2-7
year old. It features songs and videos aimed at helping preschoolers learn their phone
number, telling time, putting themselves to bed, and the more personal things like
hygiene and dealing with potty training in a dignified manner. This new inspiring set of
songs is fun for the whole family and will have you, as parents and teachers, singing
and dancing along.
My kids are loving the song. My son has already kinda learned my phone number, but could really use some practice. I think we will be playing this song over and over until they can both remember what mommy’s telephone number is 🙂
