It has been quite some time since I have been able to get motivated enough to work out. But about a month ago with a simple text, I changed that. I had signed up for a kickboxing trial months ago, but never went. Since we are finally settled down after the move, it was time that I start working on getting back into shape and working out on a consistent basis. Moves are stressful and you often don’t eat what you should, hence the 20 pound weight gain. I also got another tool to help me see if I am hitting my step goals each day. Getting fit with the Amazfit Bip smart watch just takes a few simple steps and will help you on your journey to a better you.
My kids don’t have a problem staying active, but as an adult with loads of responsibility I often don’t take the time for myself anymore to go for walk/run or head to the gym. I am not one that likes big classes or crowded gyms and I am happy that my kickboxing place is not intimidating. With the Amazfit Bip smart watch, I can see in real time my heart rate and how many steps I have done for the day. I can look back on my progress and see if I am keeping my heart rate elevated and for how long for burning more calories.
I can also track any treadmill or outside running activities. Hopefully they add other activity tracking soon so that I can track my kickboxing classes. My phone pairs with the Amazfit Bip so that I can see messages, phone calls, and more without ever having to take out my phone. It is super lightweight so I barely notice it is there. It can be worn 24/7 so that you can even track your sleep patterns. Man, that sure has been interesting to see how little deep sleep I actually get. The battery can last around 30-45 days depending upon what features you have active. To not have to charge it each and every night is amazing.
My hope for the coming months is that I will start to feel better about myself by actually taking the time to go workout a couple of times a week. I have seen an improvement already just in my mood. Eventually the weight loss and better energy will follow, and I can track it all on my Amazfit Bip. They have other versions of smart watches available too. The Bip retails for around $99. It could use some improvements as far as activities that it tracks and possibly a better digital screen, but for the price point it does a lot.
