Spring has pretty much sprung here in Texas. I love the weather this time of year and the joy of the season that is upon us. Easter is right around the corner and this year I wanted to get the kids involved with Easter decorating. It doesn’t really take much to get them involved. Just a few simple items and they will be busy for hours.

We were sent some Easter items from Chasing Fireflies and it was just what I needed to get the kids ready for Easter and wanting to help decorate.
Get Crafty: We started first with the Shrinky Dinks Easter Tree. The kids loved being able to color the pictures however they wanted. Of course, Little Miss colored all of hers pink while Little Man did a variety of colors. Mommy and Daddy even got in on the coloring. It was fun to sit at the table and just spend a little time together. Also a perfect opportunity to talk to the kids a little about what Easter is.
The kids loved watching their creations go from these big pictures to itty bitty ones that were hard plastic after they came out of the oven. Then we all took turns hanging them on the tree.
Bake a Treat: The kids(and I) were really excited about this next part. Baking!!! We were sent a fun Easter pizza kit so that we could make our own cookie pizza. These are great to do as a family or to serve at an Easter party! It calls for you to make a circle, but I thought making it egg shaped would be fun. After it cooled the kids iced the cookie and help decorate with jelly beans and other Spring sprinkles that I had in my baking cabinet. Of course, the kids loved being able to test their creation!

Hang Time: Another way to get your kids to help with the Easter decorations is to find items for them to hang around the house. We got this fun paper egg that was simple, but really brings out the holiday spirit.
The kids had a blast and we just loved all the items from the Chasing Fireflies Easter Collection. They have such cute things to make your Easter gathering fun and festive. You should also check out the personalizes clothes they offer as well!!

This review was made possible by Mom Spark Media. All opinions are my own. I received the items from Chasing Fireflies in exchange for my review.
