I recently hosted a get together for some of my friends on behalf of Mompact. If you haven’t heard or seen anything about Mompact before, you must visit the website. I am a big believer of moms supporting other mom businesses and that is what Mompact’s philosophy is as well.
I was asked to host a party an share with some of my friends a few products. My mommy friends have kids that are varying ages so it was great that I was sent a couple of different items. If you haven’t already, check out my tips for hosting parties and how to make it easier.
Have you you ever put a diaper for your little one in your purse, only to pull it out later to change your child and it was crumpled and yucky? What about having one that is vacuum sealed so it won’t get dirty and messy? Diaper Buds solves that problem. What I like is that it makes the diapers compact, portable and just overall easier to have around. Most of the moms wondered why these weren’t around when their babies were little.. haha
Another great product, especially those households with multiple kiddos around is ToothBands by ViveVita. They come in a variety of colors and you can write your kids names on them as well. This is also great for when you send your kids off to camp or to stay the night at other peoples houses. I know we are going to be having sleep overs in the near future and this just ensures that my kids will know which toothbrush is theirs.
A new product for us all to try was the Space Food Sticks. I remember as a kids trying out the freeze dried ice cream. Man was that interesting. So what they have done is come back out with the Space Food Sticks. In essesence they are protein bars. They come in Chocolate and Peanut Butter. I was a little skeptical to try them, but they are not too bad. They sure made a good conversation piece for the party and remembering when we were kids and some of the foods back then.
The Tidy Tots were also a big hit. They are in essence a trash bag for the kiddo portable potty. These are great for road trips so if your child won’t go on a big potty, you can take the little one and not have to worry about cleaning it out each time. Just put a Tidy Tot liner in and it soaks up the mess!!!
And I can’t forget the Kissaboos. If you have a child that messes with their boo boos, you can slip a Kissaboo on to protect the bandaid and all the wound to heal better.
Although it was a ladies night out, we actually had whole families there this time. The kids loved the decorations and food and the moms really liked being able to find some new products that can make our lives as moms just a little easier.
