If you have been wondering why I haven’t been updating my Mamavation posts.. well I have a good excuse!! One we have moved in to a new house!! Yay!! In that we have had to pack and pack, then move, then unpack and unpack and organize. Right after we moved in, we also had a big family reunion vacation in between.
So the last month has been crazy busy. Also my internet has been seriously wonky at this new house and makes getting my work done, VERY HARD. My dad is going to come over and switch out our routers and my mom is passing down her computer to me, so hopefully I can get back on track soon(with blog work at least).
As for the house, we have had lots to do!! It was a foreclosure so we had to take it As Is… Which is fine, but there has been lots to paint, fix etc… And trying corral kids while unpacking boxes and trying to find new places to put everything has been quite an adventure. A very tiring adventure.
One good thing about moving is that it forces you to get up and walk and lift more than you probably ever wanted to in a short amount of time. We also have stairs at our new house and I have walked up and down them A LOT in the past couple of weeks. Despite my not eating regularly and not very well while we are getting settled in, I have not gained any weight!! If I had been eating right, I would have probably lost a lot but for the most part stayed about even. I know I have built some muscle in there, so that makes me happy.
To date: I have lost 23 pounds over the last year(plus). I will be excited once I break under the 140 mark. My goal is to lose 10 more pounds. I am taking it slowly(not that I have a choice) because these last pounds are taking forever to get off!!
I am ready for life to settle down a bit so I can refocus on my eating and exercises. We still have a lot of boxes to unpack and more organizing and cleaning and painting to do… It will be a long time before the house is where we really want it, but I am just so thankful that we are in and we finally have a house of our own.
I am going to try and focus on my water intake this week. I have been really bad about how much I am taking in and probably the main reason why I have been eating kinda junky.
