You spy the box of cereal that your mom just bought…

You are the first one up the next morning so you are primed for getting that box torn open and getting that special surprise toy from the box…

You dig and dig and get cereal all over the table but that’s ok because you will just eat it later..

Then it happens..Your hand hits something hard that is NOT cereal and you know that YOU have just scored the special prize that is the envy of any kid..

Your siblings wake up and you show them what you found. You are the victor that day in the cereal toy scavenger game… Oh YEAH!!

What ever happened to cereal boxes containing prizes? Sure they let you cut the box up to play with that, but what fun is that? I want the digging my hands so deep, moving my hand all around until I hit that jackpot..

The Minions are bringing back the nostalgia with collectible characters in select General Mills cereals at Walmart. Located on the cereal aisle in the Family Size boxes you and your kids can go searching for the 7th Minion.

 My kids were ready to tear in to the boxes as soon as I got them home. They had never really experienced the fun that is finding that surprise toy in a cereal box. Man it sure brought the memories flooding back for me. There was a little bit of let down since they put the toy outside the cereal in the box, but it was still pretty fun for them to open the package to see which minion they got. Out of 4 boxes we only got one duplicate, this works so the kids can have one of their own then share the other two.

Bonus is we now have tons of cereal to eat!! So I want to know, what was your favorite toy to get from a cereal box when you were a kid? Any that you still have to this day?

We plan on taking our Minion toys to the Minions movie out July 10th!!!
