Week 4
Down another 3.8 pounds on the Nutrisystem Sucess Plan! It’s the biggest loss I’ve had in any week, and very understandable. As I promised, I was going to ramp up the workouts, lo and behold, I get the greatest weight loss. Part of it too is the fact that I’ve cut back a couple hundred calories on my daily intake. I don’t think that change was on purpose, I just seriously haven’t been as hungry, and the time between meals hasn’t left me wanting to eat.
I’m proud of myself for where I’ve gotten so far, down 10.6 pounds in a month. But I do have to admit that having my wife on board at the same time has made this immensely easier. We are making better food choices as a couple and helping each other out. I’m not saying I couldn’t have done it alone, but realistically I don’t think I would have gotten as far.
Going forward, I finally feel like I’ve gotten to that place where I can keep this going. I’ve lost weight successfully before, but I’ve never actually changed the way I look at food. It’s the only time I’ve EVER paid attention to how many calories I’m putting in my body. Looking at the mobile app everyday, I’m always surprised at just how many calories different food account for. It’s been eye-opening, and truthfully, it has been fun. Seeing the results is just the icing on the cake.
