I have made lots of changes this week on the Nutrisystem Program. But yet still some more left to make. I am working on getting to more of a vegetarian and eventually a vegan diet. I have had some health problems and am trying to see if changing my diet and eliminating certain foods can help my pain. I have been dealing with it for two years and enough is enough!!
I have been doing better on getting my water in so that has helped me not have so many cheats or even desires to eat extras and I have been snacking on veggies and carrot sticks whenever I start to feel hungry. I am also trying to cut out artificial sweeteners as much as possible. That one is definitely hard because I like adding MiO or Crystal Light to my water so that it makes it easier to drink. So I have been searching Pinterest and other places to find things that I can add to my water to make it easier to drink and have more flavor. I have also tried Stevia, but am not totally liking the flavor if it.
This is all a constant learning process of seeing what works for me and finding foods and drinks that taste good while still helping me lose weight. I need to work on getting more workouts in. I have been packing and cleaning the house a lot this past week in anticipation of our move, but haven’t gone on many walks. My pain is spiking some thanks to my monthly visitor, so I am sure this next week will be a little rough. I am just going to try to stay focused, drink my water, and keep watching what I eat.
As of Wednesday I am down to 142.8 pounds! Happy to have a loss this week. So a total of 4.6 pounds. I wish it was more, but my body will only give up so much weight 🙂
