It seems like I am always on the hunt for pens and other office supplies. My kids are great at stealing my ballpoint pens and hiding the highlighters and permanent markers in various places in the house. And sometimes they just get lost in my purse!!

My other problem is that it is hard for me to grip pens that are very skinny, otherwise my hand cramps. This in turn makes my handwriting even worse than normal. (I got C’s in writing as a kid, if that tell you anything.. haha)

I was sent the Paper Mate 700 RT Ballpoint Pen, Sharpie Gel Highlighters and Sharpie Premium Pen to test out from Shoplet. I love trying out new pens and see how they fit in my hands and how smoothly they write.

The first one I opened was the Sharpie Premium Pen. It has a small tip just like a regular pen, but gives you that great deep Sharpie color. This has actually been my favorite one and I use it everyday now. It helps me to write smoother and darker without bleeding through the paper that I am writing on.

The kids really loved the Sharpie Gel Highliters. They just love it any time I actually let them color. I liked using them when I got items in for review. If the sponsor sends instructions or product details, I can highlight what parts I will use for my reviews. It makes it easier when sitting down to write. I like that they also don’t bleed through the paper and won’t smear the ink that you are trying to highlight.

The InkJoy pens were nice, but a little skinnier for me to hold. They did glide smoothly over the paper as I was writing, but they weren’t very easy to hold. One plus is that it took very little pressure to start writing and wrote with dark precise lines.
