It is not always easy to find delicious treats when you have to eat gluten free. They are usually loaded with more sugar and weird ingredients just to make it seem like a regular treat. I love when I can find sweet treats that have minimal ingredients, are gluten free, and satisfy that sweet tooth. Hail Merry® Merry Bites™ are the sweet raw treat that I have been longing for and are satisfying.
I have seen the Hail Merry® bags in stores here and there mostly at Whole Foods and wondered what they were all about. Moms Meet sent me a package where I was able to try out several of their well known flavors of Merry Bites™ that are these delicious little morsels that are dehydrated at low heat versus baking at high heat which keeps them considered raw. The unique process of dehydrating Merry Bites™ at low temperatures protects the delicate raw fats in the organic virgin coconut oil and almond flour, which helps maintain freshness and leaves the dough super moist and satisfying. These cookies are FRESH, unlike typical shelf-stable packaged cookies.
My favorite is a close tie between the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and the Lemon. It is best to keep the bites in the fridge to help them last longer, but I can’t promise you that they will last for very long. I actually love them cold. The package says to have them come to room temperature for optimal taste, but I love when they are cold especially now that summer has hit. Just two bites is considered a serving, but it is so hard to only eat that many. 🙂 There are 6 flavors to choose of this sweet raw treat that I think you will fall in love.

For someone like me and my sister who also has food allergy issues, we have a sweet raw treat that we can indulge in from time to time. My kids even eat them, though I don’t know that I really want to share with them. haha
Look for the Hail Merry line at your local grocer in the refrigerated section or check the online locator to see what stores around you carry the products. I know for sure Whole Foods does.
