It can be so hard to get your kids to brush their teeth and even begin to think about oral care when they are young. We are lucky though that we are able to afford dental insurance and be able to take my kids to the dentist for check ups. Little Man has already had two cavities worked on, and though I do my best to make sure his teeth are clean, sometimes it just isn’t enough.
There are people though who don’t have the funds to be able to give their kids the best dental care possible. Tom’s of Maine has been working for 10 years to be able to provide Dental Health for All with over $1 million donated to dental clinics nationwide.
Right now, Tom’s of Maine is bringing awareness to the Tooth Fairy and good dental hygeine for kids of all ages by running a coloring contest. Your child can draw their interpretation of the tooth fairy and submit it on the Tom’s of Maine page to be entered to win $10,000 donated on the child’s behalf to a dental clinic in the state and toothpaste for the child’s entire school!! There will be 10 winners chosen in all!! How awesome to be able to spread the gift of dental care to those who cannot afford it. The last day for entries to be submitted is March 15, 2013. So get your child to drawing or download the coloring sheet from their website and submit your entry.
Since my kids are a little young to draw out characters, I downloaded the sheets for them and they colored away while we talked about the Tooth Fairy. Little Man did pretty good with his and staying in the lines. I guess he thinks since it is called fairy that he figured it should be pink 🙂
To help get your child in the mood to brush, I am running a giveaway for one tube of the Tom’s of Maine Silly Strawberry toothpaste. To enter simply fill out the rafflecopter form below. Giveaway will run until 1/21 at midnight. Good Luck and Happy Entering 🙂
This giveaway was made possible by Mom Spark Media. All thoughts are my own. All prizing for MSM giveaways are handled by a third party unless otherwise noted. For this reason prize fulfillment can take up to 90 days after the winners information is received.
