I was sent some marathon PRO Compression Socks in order to facilitate this review on behalf of SweatPink. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I am a bit late on updating my week 2 training post because we were off for a staycation. I somewhat stuck to my plan for last week. I did one day of strength training/crossfit with my trainer. She had to cancel the second day I was scheduled. I did do two days of walking/running as well as some extra core training.
One of the days I took the dogs for a walk outside, then came back and finished up about 3 miles total. Afterwards, I did about 25 of core exercises including pushups, planks, situps, hula hoop, and a couple of other things.
The other day I only wound up doing just over 2 miles or so. I just wasn’t feeling it. I am having a hard time wanting to get on the treadmill like I used to do. Before, I really didn’t mind it and it was a way for me to run while the kids were home. Now I dread the treadmill. I am definitely waiting for school to start so that when I drop the kids off I can go for runs outside. I also need to get more consistent with my food intake. I have gotten better at starting the morning with my LS Vibe shakes and using my Life Shotz each day. These have both helped tremendously in getting the nutrients I need, but water and other foods I need to be more consistent on taking.
I have two races so far in September so this momma needs to step up her running game. When I was training more regularly, I would often wear compression socks while I was running. This go around I am testing out something new and wearing them after I run and just wear regular socks while I run.
I may change back to wearing them while I run when I start to get longer distance runs in. PRO Compression socks are great for many reasons when it comes to running:
