What are some words or phrases that your mom used to say to you and that you still live by today? “Trust your instincts” “Don’t worry about what other people think of you” “You have to work hard to get what you want, that will make you appreciate it just that much more” are just a few that come to mind. Did she have any tips on healthy family hydration?

I will admit, I have a horrible memory and don’t remember many “sayings” that my mom used to say to me. But some things that have stuck recently is my moms support of me when I work out or have a good run. Her support of me getting healthier and stronger for my family and myself. Her words of “I am so proud of you” “You Go Girl” and many more are so helpful in making me want to do more and push myself farther in my runs and work outs.
I am doing my best to make myself and my family healthier. Healthy family hydration is what is important to keeping your family strong. One way that I do that is by keeping sodas out of our house. My kids love drinking milk and water or juice and that makes me happy. There is no need for the sugary drinks that just slow you down and give you false energy.
Nestlé® Pure Life® is launching a new Hydration Movement to get us all to want to drink more water each day to keep ourselves healthy and strong. Visit the Nestlé® Pure Life® Facebook wall and leave a comment with the hashtag #momswisdom sharing what your mother told you and how it has made you a better person, and see all the words of wisdom from mom that everyone is sharing, then next month check back and see the launch of the Hydration Movement.

I am being compensated for this post, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
It is funny how sometimes all we need to here is good job 🙂 my mom is a little less traditional. Her favorite saying is "either you can keep whining or you can shut up and do something" and sometimes I need that to.lol
I wasn't close with my mother but my grandmother would always lift me up and encourage me to get through the hard times with my head up!
