It is a word that no one wants to hear…. You have Cancer. No matter what type of cancer it is, it is a big deal and one that will change your life in more ways than you thought possible. When you hear those words, all you really want is a big hug and to know it is going to be all right. Giving Comfort wants to do just that, give comfort to those who are going through Cancer treatments. I was sent one of the kits to review.
As a person who has gone through surgery and now chemo and radiation, one of the biggest things I have wanted is comfort. I have wanted to just feel warm and snuggly and taken care of especially now. Chemo and radiation is no joke. It affects your body in so many more ways than you can imagine and you really just aren’t yourself. When I get home, all I want to do is curl up on the couch with a big fluffy robe and snuggle with my kiddos.
Giving Comfort has great kits that contain items to help out those with cancer. There are ones for kids, teens, men, women, and even caregivers. They are filled with items like robes, teas, water bottles, hand sanitizer and other items that really can help bring comfort to those going through chemo and radiation during their cancer journey.
I have to say that three best items that came in the kit for me were the Queasy Pops, water bottle and the hand sanitizer. The Queasy pops have helped me on days that the anti nausea meds weren’t quite enough. I use the water bottle to try and stay as hydrated as I can since I am not eating much. The infuser is great to give the water just a little flavor. And I can’t leave without hand sanitizer. The last thing I need right now is to get sick on top of going through treatment. This is only a few of the things in the kit, but there are so much more that I have used and looking forward to using as I have a couple more weeks of treatment.
These kits really are great. You can either send one to someone you know or you can always donate a kit to help out someone in need. It is nice to know that there are companies out there like Giving Comfort that want to make such a hard time in someone’s life just a little bit better and easier. It really speaks to my heart 🙂

I hope you will keep up with Giving Comfort and all they have to offer for cancer patients and consider donating a kit yourself!
What an amazing idea. I will certainly support their efforts. Thank you for sharing and for being so positive during your own treatment – you got this!
