I took most of last week off from working out because I had a really big baking order that took three full days to do. I was thankful for the work, but man it sure took a toll on me and my hands. Last week was a rough week all around. I just didn’t feel good overall, stress was crazy high, and just not a good week.
I have determined that this week will be better! I set my mind to working out and getting back on track. Today I did day 17 of Insanity and 3 miles on the treadmill. It was one of those “I want to push myself” kind of days. I wanted to get all the yuck out from last week and just push through it all. I am tired from it, but at the same time I feel fabulous.
It was also great to get back to running. I haven’t run in quite awhile and REALLY miss it. I have races already planned for the fall so I need to get my running legs and lungs back on track. I was pleasantly surprised how well it did on my walk/run after not doing it for awhile. Insanity is really helping to build my muscles and strength that I will need to get better at running.
I can’t wait to see what the rest of the week brings. I want to push myself. I want to get back to feeling better. I want to get back to being healthy all the time and not let the stress weigh me down. I want to be in a good mood for my family.
