I was recently given the opportunity to go to a pre screening of the movie “When The Game Stands Tall” thanks to local Houston Ford Dealers including Tomball Ford. Little did I know that it was going to such an emotional and heart warming night and I am not just talking about the movie.
The theater was filled with several local groups that Tomball Ford wanted to recognize and make a donation to their work. Tomball Ford has a heart for its community and the GM Brent Christiansen wanted to share his heart by giving a $1,000 check to the Texas Veterans Sports Alliance, Kilroy’s Krew and the Boy’s and Girl’s Country. Adding to the donation that they made just recently to the Lone Survivor Foundation.
It is amazing to see Ford dealerships giving back to the community around them and making sure that their communities are strong, growing, and can reach as many as they possibly can. This is something we should all take to heart and why not also share some of your time with these awesome foundations and charities.
Robert Hauck, assistant city manager, as well as Bruce Hillegeist, president of the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce came out to show their support and watch an inspiring vmovie. Others in attendance were Tomball High School, Tomball Memorial High School student council and the Concordia Lutheran High School Football Team.
Thanks Ford for having me out and being able to experience the heart of giving as well as the heart of a great football movie 🙂
